So, we had two pirates again this year! They loved the costumes that Grammie made last year so much that we couldn't get them to take them off for weeks this year. Halloween was a warm night and clear, so there were lots of kids out in the neighborhood. The boys tricked and treated until they were absolutely worn out! By the end they were asking me to carry their candy jack-o-lanterns! We're still eating candy all the time, but hopefully the Sweets Fairy will come soon! ;-) The picture below was taken by the folks who own our local coffee shop... they were handing out whole Hersheys' bars and hot chocolate! --D
Dave just told me he hates the QotD.I happen to love it because I love trivia...as anyone who knows me would understand. He thinks I should start my own website. Hmmmm. Maybe I should. Thoughts?
Here's an interview with Sam about his latest obsession...
Dad: So, Sam when did you first learn about fuse beads?
Sam: I just know of them.
D: Where did you first play with them?
S: CDSA. (Community Day School Association)
Mom: What were your first designs?
S: My heart and a star.
D: Why do you like playing fuse beads?
S: I just do.
D: What kind of design are you working on now?
S: I'm making a ghost head for David (his best friend at the Maple School).
D: How long have you been working on fuse beads today?
S: A long time... a few minutes. (About 3 and 1/2 hours)
D: Do you think you'll ever get tired of fuse beads?
S: No.
