Rain, Yoga, Huskies win, Tutta Bella...
It was a pretty slow day around here in Seattle. Raining as soon as we got up...Seattle style. Gray, consistent, cool... but not quite cold. There wasn't really a good reason to get out of bed... except that Sam and Charlie were complaining about the lack of chocolate syrup. So that, and the fact that we wanted to get to the yoga class at the gym, got us up and moving.
Yes, you heard us right, yoga. It's become a regular thing for Jen and me lately. Have you tried it? Well, you should. It's honestly a good workout.
So, anyway, it was yoga at 9:30, then back home for coffee and brunch. On this morning, I took the boys with me to the gym so Jen could sleep in and have some quiet time... well deserved (thanks Dave!).
Later on we tackled the house -- there was stuff piling up everywhere. It's much neater now. Jen was on a mission!
The sun shone for two hours in the afternoon and the boys and I headed outside to ride bikes and play with our toys and stuff while we could. Later, we caught the end of the Huskies game -- they beat Cal! Finally a win. They are now 4-7 overall and last in the PAC 10. UW has not had as good a year as the Cats. Unfortunately, UK didn't fare well today against Georgia... they seem to be slipping.
Next, we were all off to Tutta Bella for dinner, which, by the way, is Sam and Charlie's favorite place to eat. We had our usual. The Mista salad, the Bambino, and the Ciro.
Now it's time to put the boys in bed and enjoy a fire by the fireplace. Overall, not too bad a day :-) How was yours?
